Sunday Report

by Ed Dominick

7-June -08

Hi All

Here's the Sunday Report....       on Saturday!!

Well the Dominicks' had the run of the layout.   A continuous stream of  visitors were entertained and educated.

One visitor asked me if a Burlington Northern Zephyr was running.  I stated no and inquired why she asked.
Her response was she had seen one up near Chicago, and had, in fact, given that name to her son.  I then asked her
if she had another son named Amtrak, because I was running my Amtrak Superliner.

Later in the day a  much older woman asked me about the Zephyr as she had seen one running when she was a child.
Is that a clue to purchase a Zephyr??   Donations welcome.

Ed

CSX gets the tank car duty.

Clarabell has a concerned look running behind Annie and Thomas the Tank.

Engineer checking out the yellow convertible passenger.

Canadian National hauling grain.

An Amtrack Superliner is always a favorite on the layout.

SD-90 MAC Caterpillar consist, another layout standout.

A busy area with (left to right) CSX, Canadian Pacific, Amtrak, and two Caterpillar trains.

After a long day at the museum, an air conditioned movie house with comfy chairs is a nice place to relax.    Don't forget the popcorn and pom-poms.
