Hi Railfans,

Ed Dominick and Gary Taul were todays engineers.

The museum was celebrating Thomas the Tank Family Day with crafts including coloring pictures and painting your
own tank car or boxcar.

The SD3R layout was the ONLY location running Thomas the Tank trains which generated many, many visitors to our layout.

The train of Honor, Thomas.



James... pulling an oil tanker consist.  James helped to make the day enjoyable for young visitors.



Percy also helped to make the day enjoyable for young visitors.



Harold was a favorite.



Even "Lady" hitched a ride on top of a Troublesome Truck to celebrate Thomas the Tank.



Gary put together a lash-up with a Union Pacific 4-8-4 being helped by two SD-70s.



Ed ran the Metrolink.    This is the commuter rail system that links Orange County, CA with surrounding areas including Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties.
