Sunday Report

by Ed Dominick

23-March-08

Easter Sunday with engineers: Julie, Brian, and Ed.

Toy Train Gallery was not very crowded due to the holiday.

Interacted with the public who showed interest in the layout and I  accepted on behalf of the 3-Railer club, all their compliments
on the layout.

My Amtrak was adorned with Easter pictures and I also ran a series of  hopper cars filled with plastic Easter eggs and, for the chewing
public, Sponge Bob Crabby Patties (which I did not get a picture of).

All in all it was a great day for running trains.   Enjoy the photos.

Ed.

Here is James smiling at the visitors.   Thomas, Diesel, and Percy were also in attendance.

Brian's Burlington Zephyr was a standout and zipped along the rails.

Easter theme on Amtrak.

Who does the picture on the left remind you of ????

Brian's Nickel Plate Road Berkshire performed admirably with awesome sounds and smoke.

The articulated Great Northern R2 (2-8-8-2) was produced from 1929-1930 (numbers 2044-2059) and definitely caught your attention as
she danced around the layout.
