Weekend Report

by Ed Dominick

17-March-2012

Todays engineers on St Patrick's Day were Ed Dominick and Jim Mastrogany.

There was a steady stream of visitors to the museum regardless of the rainy day conditions.

Not pictured was Thomas, Percy and James from the island of Sodor entertaining the youth.

One family was totally engaged in the SD3R layout Scavenger Hunt that was created by Cheryl and Marshall Carpenter.

Ed provided St. Patrick's Day "character" by wearing Irish hat and blinking bow tie.

Ed (...the Leprechaun) with Shamrock delights.

Jim's MTH Premier FEF Union Pacific with Elephant Ears.     Awesome motive power.

Ed's older MTH GG-1 hauling Pennsy passengers to New Jersey.

Jim's Lionel Marine train with missile launcher engine. Ed was a frequent target of missiles much to the delight of visitors.

The SD3R webcam spied a Leprechaun controlling the trains.

... and it appears that the Leprechaun is taking a wee bit of Irish nurishment (i.e. Irish coffee) !!
