Sunday Report

by Ed Dominick

22-November -08

Greetings Railfans,

Ed Dominick and Larry Archuleta were the engineers of the day.  There was a minimal crowd, but it was constant.

Three birthday parties were held in the upstairs library area.

Today was the first day setup for the Lego Train display located in the party/meeting room. The display officially opens
Tuesday 25 November,  and ends on Saturday 17 Jan 2009 (see pics).

Ed ran a newly purchased K-LINE PROCTOR & GAMBLE TRAIN SET 1990,  headed by a switcher by the name
of Dominick's (the name of a grocery  chain). A purchase that could not be passed up regardless of price!

Ed also ran an Amtrak Superliner 70' train, Thomas and Friends, and a Pennsy L-1 Mikado hauling an East Coast freight consist which
"smoked" the rails.

Larry ran a Santa Fe Mikato #3160 hauling 18 reefers, 4 Santa Fe GPs hauling 20 tank cars, 3 more GPs pulling the club's 12 coal cars.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy the pics......

Ed
