Greetings SD3Rs,

Saturdays engineers were: Ed Dominick, Rob Shatsnider, and John Shatsnider.

Both Rob and John are associated with the Railway and Locomotive Historical Society, Inc. Southern California Chapter, Fairplex-Pomona.

The Red, Green, and Black lines were configured in DCS running off the bricks.   Blue line ran conventional.

Good crowd with some dead spots in the PM.

One individual inquired about purchasing a MagLev train like the one running on top of the bus station.

John and Rob Shatsnider.



John's 6 diesel consist, 3 headers, two midsection, one pusher.



Rob's Union Pacific 9000, 4-12-2 non-articulated, running MTH PS2. (The real 9000 resides at Fairplex-Pomona, California).



Pecos River Brass converted to MTH PS2. 4-6-4 Santa Fe Hudson. (The real Hudson resides at Fairplex-Pomona, California).



Rob's Southern Pacific 4449, GS-4, Williams converted to MTH PS2, pulling the Southern Pacifc Daylight passenger cars.



Rob's Union Pacific 3985, MTH PS2 Challenger awed the crowd with it's deep throat whistle and articulated moves.

A smiling Percy shared the Blue line with Thomas (not pictured).   A favorite of the youth.
