by Mike Hays

8-June-2012

Hi, all.

It was a great day to run trains... and there was a steady stream of visitors to the Gallery.

The train operators Jon and Jack Cassell, Liew Dominy and Mike.

Lesserton City's Main Street.

Liew's Santa Fe work train (Atlas conventional) and the Alco RSD15, affectionately known as "Alligators" for their long, low short hood.

Liew's Santa Fe train pair of Lionel SD 24's in the lead that they gave to his son.   The look on his sons face was priceless
when his son and grandson walked into the Gallery and saw the lead engines.

Mike's Northern Pacific RS3 rounding the corner with the new trolley stop.

Jack's Lionel prewar No.1684 steam locomotive ( the trucks were tinplate Jack changed out the trucks).

Jack's Lionel prewar No.1684 steam locomotive and passenger set.

Jack's O gauge American Flyer ( AF made O gauge trains till 1941. The radius were O 40).

Another photo of Jack's American Flyer passenger set.
